Nice review of a great tool. Recruiters who do free consulting for job candidates should consider using this to get some instant, usable feedback documented. Thanks Ryan.

Hey Ryan - As one of the "weirdly passionate" at eCompliments.com, thanks for the shout out! :)

I would add the following for fellow recruiters:

Encourage your candidates to create a profile. As recruiters we know that in today’s ultracompetitive job market, even the slightest advantage can make the difference for our candidates.

To see an example of how a recruiter can help their candidates check out this profile: http://www.ecompliments.com/co/joejobseeker

Also, you can check out Ryan's ecompliments profile, log on and post a compliment to Ryan!

Thanks for the comment Adam. I agree with you on everything. eCompliments to me has the potential to shed some much needed light on candidates in need of a job as well as the recruiters...

Great post, this site definintely has a lot of promise. Since one of the main uses of social media (for me at least) is to develop a web presence and build a reputation [of excellence] for myself, I am going to try to become the "Top Complimenter".

I also like how you can review just about anything, including Barack Obama and Star Trek.

Seriously though, I think the best feature this site has to offer is enhancing your brand's reputation (corp recruiters). Part of talent management is getting people to WANT to work for your company, and if your company is getting a lot of negative feedback online, that might be difficult!
